Tại tiểu bang tôi ở, cảnh sát ít khi phạt người lái xe  nếu không vượt quá speed limit 10 mph. Cho nên nếu lái 60 mph trong vùng limit 55 mph bạn thường bị người khác dơ ngón giữa, vượt qua mặt như ngầm nói: đồ lái xe chậm như rùa !!!

Riêng tại VN có nơi cảnh sát tung lưới cá vào xe, nên có khi người lái motocylcle bị té gẫy cổ hoặc chân tay. Mỗi nơi mỗi khác và chúng ta nên cẩn thận khi lái xe tại các thành phố Mỹ dưới đây:

1.- Austin,Texas: 3 miles quá giới hạn tốc độ cũng bị phạt.

8. Chicago, IL : Có gắn 418 máy chụp hình tự động.

"Chicago has the MOST red light cameras, more than any other U.S. city," Farrell says, although according to the GPS community website  POI Factory , which maintains an updated list of red light and speed cameras, Chicago is number two in the country, with a whopping 418 traffic–enforcement cameras in its metro area.
